India is still going through a tough time due to sudden demonetization of certain currency denominations in the country. We are still to assess the situation. On one hand people are supporting the move but on the other hand it has started a debate on the issue. Construction as an Industry is quite dependent on liquid cash reserve. This crunch has resulted in sudden stoppage of on going projects at many places. However, this may be just a temporary phase but as architects we need to take the stock of the situation and assess the after affects of this sudden demonetization move by the Government.
